- 1000 Youth in collaboration with professional artists created the Pieces for Peace Mosaic on a 200’ wall in Jacob H Schiff Park at 138th St & Amsterdam Ave, NYC.
- Produced by CITYarts in collaboration with New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

- 251 original art works, photographs of the creative process, photos of the students in their schools and a video are part of the Pieces for Peace traeling exhitition on display at various locations through December 2008.
