Following in the Footsteps of Alexander Hamilton

What: CITYarts has produced and created its 315th public mural in a historic community park that celebrates the local history with a focus on Alexander Hamilton. This project was created in collaboration with local youth, professional artists, volunteers and residents in the community. Together we celebrated the unique community identity of Harlem where Hamilton lived.

Where: Alexander Hamilton Playground, Hamilton Place, W 140th Street to 141st Street, Hamilton Heights in Harlem.

Wall size: 80ft H X 25ft W

Who: Lead Artist: Hugo Bastidas, Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, Hamilton Grange Middle School, New Design Middle School, Columbia Secondary School, The Urban Assembly for the Performing Arts
